Portugal. The Man week rolls on today with a couple of sets, the first being this short but absolutely delightful acoustic set recorded for Alternative Press. The first three tracks are all acoustic renditions done by the entire band while the bonus track is frontman John Gourley takin' a stroll with his acoustic, playing the Censored Colors gem, "Created."
Evil Friends came out yesterday folks and it's all I've been listening to. I've got 10+ spins in and I think they truly have their best work to date on their hands. Every track has absolutely infectious pop elements that are perfectly balanced with their at times Pink Floydian like experimentation.
BUY THIS RECORD. SEE THEIR SHOWS. This band has a bundle going for them and they deserve it all.
