PTM are set to release their 8th studio album (7th if you consider The Majestic Majesty and The Satanic Satanist one) tomorrow, 6/4, called Evil Friends. So far they've unveiled three album version cuts and have even played another track live, the Beatles-esque "Sea of Air."
Brian "Danger Mouse" Burton produced Evil Friends, and that should tell you that you're going to get a pop masterpiece, sprinkled with radio anthems, that still maintain the burgeoning artists' authenticity.
Now, on to todays offerings! Portugal. The Man pumped out this session for Ustream on the day that their last album, the essential In the Mountain in the Cloud, came out. They field a wide variety of questions from fans while playing acoustic renditions of their songs, old and new.
Enjoy this set folks and buy Evil Friends when it comes out tomorrow. As always I suggest vinyl but iTunes will do as well.
Supporting these bands by going to concerts, buying merch and purchasing their albums is how they continue to do what they do and it's how The Steam Engine gets to post this stuff.
